Ken Cato Australian 1946 –
Australian artist Ken Cato graduated from the Royal Institute of Technology in Melbourne, and began his career working for various advertising agencies and design studios before starting his own company. He is a member of various graphic arts institutes, including the American Institute of Graphic Art, Alliance Graphique Internationale, Incograda, and Australian Writers and Art Directors Association. Cato has served as Representative for Australia on the International Advisory Board for the London College of Printing, as well as Chairman of the Australian Writers and Art Directors Association. His works have been exhibited at the 6th, 7th and 8th Biennale of Graphic Design at Brno, Czechoslovakia, and at the Leipzig (1977) and Bertolt Brecht (1978) exhibitions. Cato also won the coveted Critics Prize for the 8th Biennale of Graphic Design in 1978.
