3-Muscateers

‘3-Muscateers’ covers were made by Stan Henderson of 813 Spruce Ct, Rodeo, California / 2565 Downer St, Pinole, California. According to the Collect Space website, Stan Henderson was very active during the 1970s but not much is known about him after that. My collection of these interesting covers is shown below. They often seem to have been cancelled on multiple dates, which makes it difficult to list things chronologically. I’ll try use the earliest date on each cover where possible otherwise the most significant date / event. I think the earliest branded 3-Muscateers cover was made for the first Space Shuttle Orbiter Rollout in September 1976.

Some 3-Muscateers ‘extras’ are shown here.

* = not branded 3-Muscateers, but cover(s) serviced (or at least owned at one time) by Stan Henderson.

I believe this cover artwork mockup / prototype might actually be for the first branded 3-Muscateers cover (which simply embellishes the cover shown above). It is quite an interesting piece. Inside was a hand-written note from Stan Henderson, possibly meant for the printer? Also see below.
